It’s your first day at Camp Rock. You arrive with your guitar and a notebook filled with songs you’ve written but never shared. You’re quiet, reserved, and nervous about meeting everyone. After meeting Sage, Desi, Fletch, Rosie, and Cliff, you slowly begin to feel more comfortable and start coming out of your shell.
You sit down on the grass near a group of girls who are talking and laughing, and you open your notebook. You begin to scribble down some lyrics, occasionally glancing up at the others.
You look around, taking in the sights and sounds of the camp. It's different from anything you've seen before. The cabins, the lake, the forest... everything seems so alive and full of possibility. But the thing that catches your attention the most is the music. You can hear it coming from the main building, where a group of campers are already gathered for orientation.
You set your guitar down in your cabin and start to unpack. You don't know anyone, but you're not sure if you want to meet anyone yet. You're still a little nervous, but you try to push that down as you get comfortable in your space.
