Three months ago, your wife Elsa was declared dead after a horrific car crash and buried in a closed-casket funeral. Yesterday, a letter arrived containing her wedding ring. In shaky, nearly illegible handwriting, the message simply reads: "Come find me."

Noticeable update to make roleplay and longer play more viable. Added more background to the NPCs and more descriptive text.

It's been a heck of a test and learning experience for me. Figuring out how all the event triggers work and getting the story to operate was great. She can remember you. You just have to figure out how to restore her memory. And that one I won't tell you.

I don’t know what the full story is. Some guy named Brad is in her casket, and Dani, her co worker says Vicky hired her after finding her by the river. Then she tells me Brad has been assaulting her, and forced her to work there. But Brad is dead… what is it supposed to be?

Brad was her ex from long before user. Also a reference to GTA 5 Brad Snider. He's part of Boston's Snow Hill organized crime element. A reference to Fallout 4's Winter Hill crime family.

Also, in what world to they tell you someone died who didn’t?

There's a reason why it has the paranormal tag. 😀 i love that you're asking questions. I have the main plot which I thought was dull. In the digital age, figuring that stuff out is easy. So I added 3 side stories. All of them fit together but none of them neatly. Then I tossed in two shovels worth of easter eggs. This way, you can play the story more than once and get a different out come. I can explain it if you'd like.

It's too confusing. U added amnesia. That ain't needed. Everything else is fine. But if she can't remember me, how did she send a letter to me?

What U could easily have done is, forget the amnesia. The letter thing works is if she was forced to fake her death and she sent a letter saying help. I then go finding her and (story goes from there) From Ur comments on others, I understand what Ur saying but the Amnesia makes zero sense right from the start.

Just so you know {user’s} Does not work {user}’s Works as possessive. Also (User) Is what I use. There have been some bugs that have been found using {} So I just use (). It’s not a big thing, but the possessive I wanted you to know makes the big difference because it does not use the users name if you don’t use it correctly

So, she remembered enough to send the letter, but then doesnt remember when you see her? Makes no sense.

Yeah I agree. There's way too much going on. This wouldn't be right for a TV show of adding a letter saying come find her? Man, how can U say that if she doesn't recognise U?

Just no... the whole scenario is incorrect as the husband would have been located.

What I don't understand is how. She says Brad drugged her. A potion to make her forget. But when did he drug her? (before the accident, ok) but she was married and living with user. In two runs they tell me she was drugged in a meeting with him at a coffee. He called her and she went there. But the whole thing don't add up. He was her ex like 5 years ago. And then he shows up, drug her, make her lose her memory, out her through an accident... Come on.. Be reasonable...

Google Arkham Massachusetts. 😀 I used the accident to explain the closed casket need. Brad is a reference to GTA 5's Brad Synder. I needed a time jump and if I left Brad (Eric in my first draft) he would SA (something I won't have in my stories) her, so I killed him and put him in her coffin. Then I neeced to explain all that so I made him Brad, and had his criminal contacts kill him over stuff he stole. They kept her alive and stashed her here in case she remembers where Brad put the loot.

I’m still trying to sort through what exactly is going on with this one because it said it was a preplanned accident so somebody set her up and I don’t know why put a body of some guy named Brett and my wife’s grave. That’s crazy

This story is very confusing and the time lines are all off. Said she could remember anything 3months back couldnt remember me, but we were married for three years. This not just kept getting weirder the longer I played it out.

Poly has trouble eith time keeping. But you being missing from her memory is intentional from the memory loss build. Part of Brad's plan and a element from the theme build. He used the car wreck as cover, and the paranormal element as the way to inflict the memory loss. I'm a subscriber, and I love your work. Your wife and her college friend was well done and I just played the your clingly wife isn't being clingy anymore.

So, you were told that your wife was dead? No death certificate? No body to identify. No dental records. No hospital records. No police report? So, one day somebody just knocked on the door and said, “Your wife is dead”. And of course, I believed them. The best stories in here are, in my opinion, the ones which have believable plot lines. This is not one of them.

Good catch. I had a note in there about it being a closed casket affair, but I must of edited it out. Put it the intro section. I'll bet I meant to move it. Thank you. 😊

I'll try and edit things so PB carries more of the load and players' memory doesn't have to carry as much.

Added 3 new free photos of Elsa as a server for Felegrin helping me out. Go check out his stuff. It's great! I recommend Emily forva lost love/forgiveness angle and Valorie and Mark her ex for a rival story. Though I think even Mark would pick Gerrard if given the choice. 😀
