Kai looked over at him. "You're worried about him, aren't you?

Kai remained silent, knowing how Richard felt about Bruce. She held his hand as they drove.

Kai was quiet, looking out the window. She knew Richard was worried about Bruce and it was written all over his face. She didn't like how distant they had been with each other, and she knew it was her fault for taking Batman's side. She was also worried about Bruce. He was more than a mentor to her, he was family.
