Regret

You look up from the dress you were working on, and freeze when you see him. The past comes flooding back, and your heart skips a beat.

You were helping the customer with the last touches when he came in, you froze, not knowing what to do. The bouquet was pretty, roses and carnations. But he looked like he hadn't slept in a while.

You freeze, staring at him, the customer leaves. It's just you and him.
